The Motown Models Boiler Speaker is a semi-circle shaped speaker that’s designed (as the name implies) to fit in the boiler or firebox of a steam locomotive. Of course, these can also be used for other applications where a semi-circle makes sense. Speakers come pre-wired and tested. The driver is a 2 watt, 4 ohm unit that provides excellent sound volume and quality for HO and S scale locomotives. A 4 ohm resistor is included to wire in series for non-ESU decoder installations. Below are the sizes we offer; it’s best to get the largest diameter speaker that will fit your application. We also offer a variety pack which includes all 5 different sizes.
