Many Atlas HO models came with an “A-frame” style speaker with dual 30mm drivers. This speaker replacement kit is designed to replace the quiet, tinny dual speakers with one large driver and enclosure. It provides increased volume levels along with noticeably more bass and mid-range tones. No cutting or modification is required; this 3D printed speaker module comes with double sided tape pre-installed (so no hardware is needed), along with a 4 ohm resistor to wire in series for non-ESU installations. Just ensure the distance between the top of the driveshaft and top of the speaker circle is no less than 17mm, and the existing speakers aren’t more than 30mm in diameter. This module is 16mm wide.

We do not have an exhaustive list of models this speaker fits, but we have not run into a 30mm A-frame style Atlas HO model that this does not fit into. From GP38’s, to SDP35’s, Dash-8’s, and everything in between, this module fits and sounds great.

This is a speaker upgrade for the Atlas Master HO GP38/40 that come equipped with ESU LokSound. Please check photos and dimensions for correct fitment (40 × 18 × 12mm). Our speaker upgrade kit is a vast improvement over the factory unit, with much higher volume, more bass and better mid-tones. There is no cutting or modification required to the model; the speaker kit simply screws into place with the factory hardware.

Like with all our speaker kits, a 4 ohm resistor is included to wire in series for non-ESU installations.
